Our Journey

Over the years we have been involved with our customers on many interesting projects.

We have provided many different products for use on refurbishment of the Royal Yacht Britannia and for Concorde.

We have assisted the Royal Botanical Gardens in designing spring-loaded, non-toxic, nametags for trees and shrubs to cope with their growth.

We have sponsored a racing motorcyclist and provided parts for the Thrust land speed record attempt.

We have supplied fasteners involved in the protection of a large, cloud-based server.

Our fasteners and bespoke items can be found in constructions such as the Gherkin, Walkie Talkie, Cheese Grater and the Shard, all gracing London’s skyline.

The glass Mammoth exhibit at the Natural History Museum contains fasteners provided by us.

On a lesser note, the Rolling Stones tour manager popped in for a screw when the band played at Twickenham Stadium in 2003 – a homecoming for them and a far cry from their early days on Eel Pie Island!

….and one of our first ever cash sales in 1985 when we started was from a man who planned to sail around Britain in a bathtub – he sank in the Bristol Channel!
